The Three Keys To Kathryn Kuhlman's Success

Got to know Kathryn Kuhlman through Pst Benny Hinn's book 'Good Morning Holy Spirit'. Not only did Pst Benny got saved during the service with her a long time ago.. he also had a very strong tangible experience with God that very day if i recalled correctly.

Anyway Kathryn Kuhlman i believe is the one God sent, before Pst Benny Hinn.
One of the amazing things about this lady is that she started preaching at the age of 16 according to wikipedia haha.

And erm like what Bobby Conners (guy in the vid) said about her is sth i'd agree with. She's weird. hahaha but who cares! She's being mightily used by God and alot of people are being blessed as a result of this fact.
(Go youtube and look for her vid and ya'll know ;))

Hope ya'll enjoy the vid.. i htink the way Bobby Conners preaches was pretty cool and entertaining. Yea good stuff!

I'm glad things are turning out better now.. i strongly believe there's been this impartation since our merge with W253. God really uses people man.
i think we used to get so caught up with our limitations and now God is using other people to enlarge us.. i feel stretched but at the same time i see fruits.

I wonder if anybody comes here to check things out. i know of a definite few but unsure about the rest. i realised alot of our entries are simply announcements. but with just a tiny-winnie more effort we could do alot alot better man..
..just very simply share sth.. anything!

A relationship doesnt demand of your livelihood, but it does cost sth, sth as little as a few minutes to just share sth might be good enough ya know?

The point is that A SEED is good enough for it to becomes a tree which bears much fruits.

i know we can always text, call, msn, meetup but we've set out together to come out with this blog. sth very significant i think. a place where we can all connect and relate to. i see a need that we sow into this blog to so call keep it alive at least for now. and it's so easy!! just paste a video here like what i did i know lol very cheapskate but you get the point (and dont tell me you werent blessed by the clip ar lol)

Cell phone vs. Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

hello N20!!!!!!!

it've been sucha long time since I last blogged here.

just wanna say that i'm really proud of you guys and girls, brothers and sisters in Christ. Although we're combine with W253 for now, but you guys still come for cg and service faithfully each week. wooooooohooooooooo! that's the way uh huh uh huh! and indeed, i've observed that many of us rise up into occasion to take care of those who're younger in Christ. really really really proud of you N20! =)

This marathon/race is never easy, and it's rather tiring at times, but do not give up, and do not rely on yr own strength, but really on His strength, for with Him, you can find yr peace and yr rest.

just some sharing session about myself and my walk with God here.

was saved and born again on 11 June 2005. was on fire for Him from then on. things were and are not easy for me even till now, due to my family background etc. Many times I thought of giving up, cos it was really tiring. and many times, i lost my focus. In this marathon/race, i kept falling and falling and falling. yet, through all these fallings, i learnt to rely on Him more and more. i've been in this marathon for like 3yrs? exactly 3yrs and 2 days today. Been through really alot. thank God for His grace, that i can survive till today. frm a person with much hurts, emotion breakdowns, emotions shutdown, cold, to somebody today who's much stronger, much more independent, and a person with passion, with purpose and vision. imagine 3yrs and 2 days ago, when i havent met Him. how will my life be today? messed up? screwed up? i wouldn't dare to even think abt it.

as a Christian, my life is never easy too. God didn't promise that it'll be easy and smooth sailing too. just like Jesus, He Himself went through so much, He's the best example on earth ever. we're just like a clay in the potter's hand. the process of moulding is indeed painful, but the end product will be a beautiful one. this is what i told myself each time when i'm going through a trial each time when i'm going through a tribulation.

Thank God for everything =)

Hey guys.. surprised to see me blog? YES its AH DU.. lolz.. anw here to blog abt the day when rickson is reporting to TEKONG (a "wonderful" island).

the night b4 his enlistment, i was supposed to go with joshua, but i found out that rick is going alone. his parents are not free due to their work and i dun wan rick to go in alone. it is very the sad to go into NS alone. hence i decided to ask ppl to go with him, asked charis, and gui but gui say need to meet friend in the morning. so me charis and his friend walter will be going to send him off.

well.. in the morning he has already made a huge mistake. wad a wrong start to his day.. he mixed up the timing to report. so immediately i took a cab down and thank God, we are late but not too late.. on the ferry.. rickson started to feel emo, uneasy as he is reaching tekong.. started to crap.. maybe its his way of expressing himself when he is stress? well once we reach the island, we were separated as he has to report to the ppl there. from thn on he has to surrender his PINK IC and receive his 11B (green IC). for us.. we went on a tour around the little island followed by the witnessing of the OATH TAKING CEREMONY.

once we are done.. we were being ushered to have our last meal with rickson.. he was so happy as the food here are so delicious.. fellowship awhile and took some photos b4 the announcer said this.. "Enlistees, pls report to your company on ur left. for family and friends, pls say ur last farewell msg to them. thank you" lolz..

That was the last of RICKSON!!! we will see him at 27 of june, his first book out. so let us continues to pray for him in NS. if u do not know wad to pray abt NS. pls follow a little sample that i can think abt NS.

Pray for rickson:
-Safety (IMPT)
-strength and energy to go thru the tough training
-able to withstand the 2 weeks confinement
-able to transit from civillian to military life.
-not be influenced by the worldly ppl
-let him be the light that shines
-let his relationship/bond with his platoon/section mates be so strong
-let there be harmony in his platoon / section
-let him be able to spread the gospel to his friends
-let him have a positive attitude towards training / NS (proverbs 23:7-- " for as he thinks in his heart, so is he)

This is all i can think of.. lets also lift up those who are going to NS soon in prayers as well.

Hi, it's been a long time since I publish a post and finally...

Well this post is to share the photos we have taken at the Hideout Cafe a couple of weeks ago. All thanks to Shane that we have "excuse" (his birthday) to hang out after service and had some fun at the Hideout cafe at Bedok. If not, with all our busy schedules, it's a bit hard to find a right date to chill.

Here are the photos and hope we have more fun sessions together in near future. Thus suggest, recommend or introduce whatever outing ideas you have. Including Kelong excursion...... hint hint. Should be very exciting. Haha. In planning stage is KTV and BBQ. Currently checking out the dates availability and rates. Hopefully can update all of you by this weekend.

This weekend is Mother's Day, let's really pray and fast for our dearest mothers. They deserve to have a good celebration and also the gift of eternal life, joy, peace and love. These few weeks and even the upcoming June Father's Day, let's keep our family in prayers so we are spiritually adopting them and see our family saved by June. Prayer works! So activate it now and see results. Expect the impossible.

Today as I was doing my quiet time, I sense God speaking to me, and I would like to share this part with you guys.

God says the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few. God is constantly looking for the workers for the harvest. He is looking for a worker who can show result and reap the harvest, but more than that, he is looking for a worker that really wants the harvest. How many of us have already lost the compassion and heart for the lost outside? How many of us are just inviting friends just because we are told to do so. God is glad that we can work under instructions but not under obligations.

Many times, we make our lives become a routine and we forget the main purpose behind doing things. For example, thanking God. We thank God for our food before every meal. I think this is already a routine in our life and we hardly even forget. But how many of us, speak the prayer from the bottom of a sincere heart? Or is it just a prayer because we are told to thank God for the food? Imagine receiving a miraculous amount of financial blessing when your pocket is totally empty. Then you start rejoicing from the bottom of your heart and thanking God for coming in time. Do you say grace with the same thankful heart, or it's just another routine.

Asking friends to church is it because we are told to do that and we do that during majority of the services and especially during big events. Or do we really want our friends and family to be saved? When you work for the harvest, you will see results, but when you work for God, you’ll see GREAT results.

Last weekend's service, Rev. Dr. Ulf Ekman shared about the spirit of Fear.

I believed many of us were raised up in an environment of fear. Why do I say so? When we were young, our parents instilled fear of man in us. Example ("don't cry later police man catch", "sell you to karang-guni", "you do (action), I beat you").

Many times in the bible, the meaning of this verse comes up, [Isiaiah 41:10], "do NOT fear, for the Lord is with you". Our God is a God of comfort, of assurance, of peace, of hope, of joy, of creativity. Therefore, let all those that are facing difficulties, come to Him. In [Luke 12:31], it tells us to 1st seek the Kingdom of God, and all that we need, all that we lack, would be given to us.

Rev. Ulf Ekman said that when the spirit of fear is in you, spirit of God (of faith) cannot work in you. So if you allow the spirit of God to come in and work things out, the spirit of fear shall be casted away. (God's right hand of Righteousness will cover you.)

So I believe that, when you are facing troubles, facing difficult circumstances, fear not, seek the Lord and all that you need to help you win the race, would be given to you.

Fear not the man, but the Lord.
Fear not about entrance to university, but the entrance to the Kingdom.
Fear not about the job interview, but God's interview.
Fear not about the rejection from your peers, but the external rejection from the Kingdom.

hello! so it've been a long time since i last blog here. kinda lost the username and pw.

anyway, believe that the spiritual warfare just begun. many members are like falling sick, or some even family issues. just sense that somehow the devil knows that N20 will rise up to another level, especially when the connect grps just started, so somehow he is like doing things to stop us. but believe all of us won't just give in to it right? lets all jiayou together! maybe we can all start sharing abt our testimony, anything and everything here! think it's gonna be kinda cool and we can know each other better too. so i shall start the ball rolling.

well, so previously, think some of u know abt it, my family's kinda messed up. and everything's kinda bad. each day i'll just get so drain out by all the issues around me. i hate somebody and eventually learn how to forgive and truly love somebody (not bgr). i dont know what i'm thinking, but just heard a voice which says "no matter what, just keep believing and forgiving." i know it is God's voice, dont ask me how i know? i just know. each day, i'll just keep praying inside my heart, every hour, every minute, "God, pls,pls help my family get moving on. pls dont let us hurt each other, pls heal that hurt, that injury of mine and my family members. pls change my dad, change his temper, change his attitude, pls make him a more faithful father and husband. pls let my family be more loving." each day, i'll just keep praying. seriously, each time when i pray, i do feel like crying. the process is really painful. to learn to fully forgive somebody, it takes courage too. inorder to forgive, you'll have to face yr hurt too. many times, i just feel like giving up, and i'll go "God, it's too hard, it's too painful to forgive. i'm tired", but somehow, those who know me well, i'll fight to the end. haha.

so yup, one day God just convince me, He said "remember how Jesus forgives his disciple who denied Him 3 times? disciple is somebody close to Him too." from than on, i learn to let go and forgive. but i still kept praying for my family, and i can see changes occuring now. my dad will be home earlier now. my mum and dad's more loving than before. relationships within my family improved. family's more loving now. we even went out to shop together for new year flowers,etc. happy family, i can say.

so, if you're facing certain issues in yr family,relationship,friendship,etc., dont give up, keep praying. you will see the difference. there will be times when yr morale's low. when you feel drain out. but dont run away, run to Him instead. this is not just for N20, but also those who are reading this. jiayou! =)

Lets hold Rickson's parents in our prayers. I pray that their injuries be it big or small will be completely healed, and that there would be no after effects after that. I pray that there would be insurance claim for the vehicle and also the hospital fees.

Hello dear fellow bros and sis in Christ!

Woah long time since I last post something eh? Like what Lexmi said, our blog certainly needs some liveliness.

I believe each and every member should play a part to keep this blog alive right? (kudos to Lexmi for posting, haha) And especially now that our church is starting the Connect groups. So I think it would be nice if we could just make this blog a better place, so that when new friends visit here, they can really see things happening!

And also, I pray that every member would really be commited to pray weekly, like what Gil said, we needa bind and loose those H.A.R.V.E.S.T. over our friends and lets believe that for the next few months, we can really see tremendous growth in our cg, in our personal prayer life and also breakthrough in our own area of needs!

So, fellow servants, lets start serving and be a prayer warrior for the LORD today!!

GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT?!?!?!

Remember how I used to refuse to pray infront of our cell group in the past? I felt embarassed and feared that I might not be able to pray fluently.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, I took a bold step today. THANKS TO MY DARLING CHARIS! Oh and God of course!

We had a prayer conference not long ago. She encouraged me to pray with faith and I did it! YES! I D-I-D I-T! WOO HOO!!!!!!! I admit, I hesitated at first but now I know what Faith can do. Oh and discipline too. I ferociously need stable discipline in every aspect of my life.

I never thought I could pray like that. This is so enlightening. Now that I have conquered this, the next step is to pray infront of N20.

THANK YOU CHARIS DARLING! I LOVE YOUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!! I LOVE N20!!!!!!

The Extra Mile

Today on my way home i reviewed Pst Aries' sermon during the Breakaway Camp (a few weeks back) which really impacted me man
would like to share abit here today in my own interpretation

Success comes in divine opportunities.
But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient.

Revival comes in divine opportunities (we all know this is revival season).
But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient.

Whatever you pray for will come to you in divine opportunities.
But opportunities most of hte time are inconvenient.

God reveals to us the things we've been praying for with opportunities
But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient
It's how we respond to these opportunities that determine whether our prayers have been answered
If we really want it, God is all the more willing to bless us but He wants to see faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who EARNESTLY seek him.(Hebrews 11:6)
If we really really want it then what is inconvenience to us?
Let's go the extra mile to proof to God how much we believe what we ask, say revival
The person who will experience the breakthrough is the person who believes
The anointing comes when we take the very first step of faith

What you know you need to do but seems inconvenient is exactly what you need to just go ahead and do.
This is what i felt the Lord speaking to me when i reviewed the notes again

Hope some of us are really blessed by the word as much as i do.

I believe all of us had a great time with John Avanzini.
Let us not be "blenders" in the Body of Christ because of inconvenience
Let there be no tricks or excuses because of inconvenience
Let there be absolutely no guile because of inconvenience
Let's believe! And just obey, just do it despite of the inconvenience.

Remember God rewards those who EARNESTLY seek him, He wont condemn us for going the extra mile. In fact like what Pst John said which was something like this, "I would rather get scolded by God for doing too much than get scolded for doing nothing or with a stinky attitude." (this was how i received it)

The catch here is, whenever we felt inconvenient to obey, it's an opportunity for us to release our faith to God by simply doing it (surrender)

In the midst of us doing great things for God in the ministry, in the marketplace, in the campuses, let us not become weary in DOING GOOD, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)

hi guys...guess i haven had da "time" to blog..so yea..i'm here to blog...hmm..it's da 2nd day since sch reopened...quite slack..mon 3 out of 4 lesson cancelled..haha..today..went sch for 1 hr onli..coz 1st 2 lesson cancelled..but got hw to do liao...-_-..hmm..da time table's good..coz it's way better den last sem's time table..i finish sch early on 3 days...which means i hav more time to spent wif my family n friends..praise god...last sem...i finish sch aft 5pm everyday n even had nite klasses..so i seldom get to talk to my family mem..so yea..

anw..had my attributes ic n group leader meeting yesterday at coffe club(raffles place)..was discussing on ways to improve da ministry also did some feed backs on our members n how are they doing in the ministry..well..thank god i had 3 wonder members under me..very active n on fire...so yea...n we also talked about da "naughty" ones...whu needed abit more attention..n also how to handle dem..haha..da meeting ended at 10pm..

I now understand what is the logic behind the notion of how reading the bible at different times of your life yields different results.

A while back, probably 2 - 3 weeeks, I read Mathew 6 and learnt the Lord's Prayer.

The cool thing is, even though I read through those versus quite a few times, there were parts of two versus I did not see at all. Mathew 6:10 "...your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." and Mathew 6:13 "...but deliver us from the evil one." (NIV version).

Mathew 6:10 only appeared to me a few days ago, and it was only through last night's cellgroup meeting that I saw that Mathew 6:13 had another line, when I saw it, I was like "What the...since when did this line pop up?"

This experience made me decide to change plans for bible reading after I read my way to Revelations.

frm today onwards, lets not be complecent and ask God to cut our cross. we will go through trials and trabulutions, but that's because God planned it for us to understand things better, and behind everything, there's a reason, a purpose. it's just like we hafta go the narrow way. if we dont go through trials and trabulations, we wont understand and we wont cross over just like the man in above pictures. the cross is heavy, but we're not to ask God to cut the cross, but to seek HIM to give us strength, draw the strength from HIM =)

Awesome!! Joyce Meyer LIVE wahaha!!

Wow.. 2 days of Joyce Meyer was very very impactful and fruitful as well!
An anointed preacher indeed as she's able to articulate her understanding of the doctrines very well making it easy to grasp and digest for the congregation. Her testimony was a super heart-opener too.

One of the main highlights of all I think was during the first service where she placed a rocking chair on the platform next to herself. Very intriguing huh.. and that was her intention - to get the message she's about to share (with the help of the chair) into the back of our heads in a more visual manner.

So here goes the message:
Christianity is not what we can do for God so we can get His blessings, but by the grace of God that we ARE blessed, that we ARE free to receive His blessings.
God loves us not because of anything else but His desire to, and none of us can do anything to change it.

God has called us His children the very day we receive His salvation, and He already has intended a great great plan for each one of us.

But there are alot of Christians still yet to know who they really are in Christ. And it's because of this that they will never manifest what God intends them to be (their call & purpose in life).

Instead of believing we are made righteous, prosperous in life, and accepted by God through Christ as said by God Himself, people tend to try to be righteous, seek mercy, etc

Here you are sitting on the rocking chair.. in the arms of God knowing who you really are in His eyes.. resting peacefully in His promises and presence.. whoaaahhh...shiok (and this is the kinda life Jesus died to give us)
But alot of christian, who are children of God, who are already in the chair, are still trying hard to the extend of struggling to get IN the chair. That's because instead of believing what God says about them.. they choose to believe the lies of the devil instead. I admit I find this hard to cope and was like this until this sermon hit me so hard.

So the message was made clear,
Stop getting in the chair when you're already sitting on it! haha
and all it takes for you to successfully live a lifestyle of peace, contentment and hapiness is just to BELIEVE.
(faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.)It's when we believe through the Word of God that we can truly live a victorious life.

Wa! I have to meditate on this sermon very often leh I think for me

CG meeting - Attaining Godliness Through Dsicipline

Today's cg was great.. long time since we had sermon outline for the word haah
Anyway today's sermon was about 'Attaining Godliness Through Discipline'

And at the end of the sermon we did this little exercise.
It's about writing out some spiritual goals for ourselves to achieve till the end of this year.

And to help us with this exercise.. there're questions to guide, questions like:
- What do you want to see in your walk with God?
- Which family members & friends do you want to see saved?
- What are the thigns you want to set your affection on?
(Matt 6:21 - "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.")
- What are the things you want to adopt as a lifestyle and put into action
(Discipline requires a corresponding regular response and action on our part)

And after we finished our last sentence.. we're told to check if our answers(goals) would lead us to Godliness, if they're God-centered.
Wa I think this really helps big time man, it really is time we all come out with an action plan.. NOW is the time man!

So er this is just the summary of what we've learnt today(17/08/07)

And so it went on to fellowshiping and I dont know how we started talking about lizards('house lizards' generally) and Gillian was literally "manisfesting" lol. She was so afraid of lizards even to extend of freaking out upon the mentioning of the word-'lizard' wahaha!!

And oh yea! That explains the video on top (you can take off that question mark above you head now).. but you guys(N20) would never believe how I found it!!!!

Today I asked a colleague to add me to her friendster list and when I got home after CG and viewed her profile.. THERE IT WAS!!
Never seen any house lizard videos ever before.. it just seems like the spirit wants to speak to Gillian sth about her queer fear(hey a rythme!) of lizards whaahaha

Don't worry Gillian.. I believe in no time.. when we have that wrestling match between you and the lizard.. we're gonna see it drop it's tail and run like it never dropped it's tail and ran before =D

hey N20! guess this is the 3rd post by me. lol.

anyway, yup, just some sharing. i got back some of my results, and it's really bad, really really bad. of course, like any other people, i felt sad, and my first reaction was "God, why? why? i felt Your presence with me when i was doing my papers, everything seem to flow well at that time, but yet me results.....9points, isit even possible? it just seem so far away now. what am i suppose to do?" i was really sad and kinda stressed + depressed by it, and all of a sudden, i felt a warm comfort. and the next thing i know, God brought me back to that time during 1 of our cg meeting, when we hafta speak/prophesy to each other's life, it was the delieverence service week. and my partner that day, tiff. she spoke a word to me, and the word was "believe" and during it, God told me to believe, believe and it will happen, be it in my studies or other things in my life. at that time, i thought that it was nothing, cuz i already believe in Him long ago for everything. and now, i know that God was actually preparing me for this day, especially abt my o's. well, serious, i'm like frm an above average sch i can say, and i'm frm normal acad. the chance of getting 9points is really low, very low, as it's a seriously big jump frm n's to o's. not many people can do it. maybe some of u may ask, "but why 9points?" seriously, i dont know too. that's just the result i wanna get. it just shot me. maybe it's God who's preparing me again, that's why i wanna get 9points. yup. God is never too early or too late, He is always on time =)

so people, dont give up in anything you do. believe and it will happen. lets go all the way for it! be it for cg growth, or things that we do. lets go all the way and believe that it will happen and believe that we can do it! jiayou! =)

Great service today!! Wow I love Dr A R Bernard man!
He makes me feel smarter ahaha no la no la.. he’s a great teacher that’s why I like him =D

At the closing of today’s service Dr Bernard said: “When you decide to engage culture with the spiritual and moral standards of God, you will face persecutions”
The Bible assures that too.

And yes we have gone and are going through persecutions.. and it’s very real to me because I’ve faced it personally too.

I’m talking about the article on Sun..
I have not seen the article but anyway God spoke to me through this issue.

Some friends have been pretty critical about Sun’s “way” of engaging culture.
Christians, non-Christians have been talking and debating about the should-s and shouldn’t-s, right-s and wrong-s of her methods.

I was led into this conversation with a Christian friend a couple days back. And I thank the Holy Spirit for His guidance. It was a short distance home from the mrt station when we started talking about Sun. So we decided to sit down and continued the conversation which lasted for another hour plus. So to summarise.. during the conversation he threw me some verses that stumbled my viewpoint. I tried not to rush into “preaching the cultural mandate sermon” to him lol because he seems to be pretty good at his theology haha. (and I was literally waiting for the Spirit to help me get my point across in the flow), and while doing so, trying to counter attack lol.

So it went on till the Holy Spirit showed up and interceded. And I said to my friend, “wait wait.. we’re missing the point here…”

You know with all these debates going on sometimes it could get really critical and judgmental which leads to frustrations and at the end of the day, unfruitfulness. At the end of the day we find ourselves just trying to prove to each other how much we know about the theories of the Bible. And we miss out the One who’s the source of it.

When such controversy arises it’s about people picking out the negative things of issues to talk about and it starts usually with something negative.
I wasn’t fully comfortable with Sun’s appearance in her videos but who am I to be part of this debate of right and wrong?

By the presence my friend was convicted. What would he profit if he knows so much more about theology than me but miss out the presence of God?

And for my side: what would I profit if I were to use tactful words and trying to be patient and holy to get my message across and still be debating and missing the presence – the point?

Instead of looking at the negative side of things and talking about them why not be thankful for the good things and talk about them?
Well why should we?
Because when we talk about negative things it doesn’t glorify God at all, he not only cares less about negative things.. He stays away from it. He basically has nothing to do with it.

I don’t even wanna care to ponder if He’s okay about Sun, if He’s there, if He’ll answer my prayers, , all the if-s.

I thank God for Sun because she’s really doing a lot of good works out there and impacting big time in the marketplace. I thank God that she has touched and helped so many people in sharing her testimony. I also thank God for her to be a role model for us. A person of great faith, doing the will of God despite facing challenges. She’s strong man.. and is an example of a very successful person. And I'm starting to appreciate more of her now.

One thing I truly believe is that God wants us to appreciate the things in life which he creates
And how do you appreciate things?
By seeing what’s good and talk about them.

Now I understand why Phil Pringle say whenever he chooses to have faith he feels happy/joyful and that makes him wanna step out more in faith.. because when we talk about the good things as we take up faith we are welcoming the presence and we become positive in our thinking which leads to fruitfulness in the spirit.
Being all negative and complaining doesn’t do us any bit of good at all.. they only produces unfruitfulness (holds you back).

So when you’re are trying so hard to get to the point next time.. ask yourself again and again if you have gotten it already =)
What is the point?

East Coast Outing

From the title you can see that the result from the votes is East Coast outing. We started late as it is really not easy to go there. Maybe that explains why for 2 years since the last cg outing (e-race), I never step into East Coast. Haha. Didn't do much as planned (like cycling, fly kite and bowling) but we just enjoy each other's company with a mini "Da-pao" picnic and discussing about the September Sentosa outing and year-end chalet. Thank you N20 for making the outing happen. I believe is the people in the outing having the right attitude that is more important than what we actually did there. No complaining, no sour face, but all tried to keep the spirits up. Really proud to have you all as a part of N20. Looking forward to a fantastic time in Sentosa.

Finally more sisters in the outing just now. Prayer works. :oD. Above are the photos.

Hey everyone!

We have so many bloggers in N20 yet no one is blogging here and it seems so dead. 6 days with no updates since the last post and we just started this blog last month! Come on come on, I believe everyday of your life is not BLANK with God, surely something interesting is going on.

Speaking about interesting stuffs, here's one, the anticipated N20 cg outing is here again. I suppose Gillian is still making her choice through our votes on various places like East coast park and Vivocity.

Personally I voted east coast park because I love that place ( the greenery and fresh air and of course, get to blade =x) however, it's quite hard to access there. The best way would be to meet up at Parkway Parade and then WALK over by the underpass to ECP. At ECP, (you all know how BIG the park is) without other modes of transportation like bicycle or roller blades, the only option is to walk around.

So now, we'll just have to see how things goes and I'm fine with anywhere =). *for your info, Parkway Parade have KBOX =x*

God is Awesome

Yeah! Finally able to put in my 1st post in N20 blog. It is great to hear so many marvelous reports from you - N20. Definitely very encouraging as all of you are growing stronger in our Lord, even Doug who is so young in Christ and is already having encounters with God. That motivates me to rise up more so that I can build all of you up in the holy faith. As I often said, we need each other to run this race, so even as a cgl, I need all of you too (Hehe, I am also a human, need support when I am down). Thank God for all of you. I am a blessed cgl to have all of you standing in the gap for me and being so understanding of my multiple roles and lack of time for you. I will try my best to squeeze the time to spend with N20. :-)

God is indeed awesome and has been faithful. Friends, our vision are slowly but surely coming to pass. Every month 2 friends and 1 to be integrated. We did it. We are progressing and now is to pray for more sisters. :op A bit unbalanced now but praise God for the brothers. Over the past few cgs, Father God is showing us verses to tell us He is bringing us to a breakthrough, let's continue to be steadfast in our faith and not give up. Our breakthrough and revival is coming. Amen.

Think I had a vision last night. Couldn't sleep as I rested quite a lot throughout the day, felt feverish. So I was in the bed and I just kept praying and worshipping and praising. Then all of a sudden lights started to play over my eyes. Started with this really bright light. So bright that it actually hurt and I had to roll my eyes away. Then these waves of light started dancing, red, orange and blue most of the time. Then I saw this image. Two persons on a huge leaf. One is lying on the leaf and the other is kneeling over the one lying. It somehow just hit me that the person lying down was me and the whole image was like a father nurturing his son. Then it was gone and I opened my eyes. The image disappeared really quickly as it appeared. Went out for a pee and saw the clock. 2329, I didn't even know I fell asleep, or perhaps I really did lie on the bed for an hour. It was all so dreamy. As I'm writing this, I don't know if I'm adding things on or was that really what I saw. But as I recollect, I see that in that image, we were both naked but that 'father' had this white cloth covering his bottom. Then it somehow just came to me that that 'father' was Jesus. And it really felt to me that that was God's promise to nurture me as I continue to grow in Him and walk His path. So...yeah...really nice experience there.

Currently undergoing a absolute-cum-partial fast haha. Why that name you ask. Well, it's not my holidays yet so I still got to go for my attachment and I don't want to risk fainting without breakfast. Mommy will scold me if I told her I'm fasting. So the only time where I can fast is between breakfast and dinner. Drinking only water and resting a lot. Fasting heals the body very rapidly you know. So yeah, pray for me as I engage in God's healing from my half-developed cold. I got it under control pretty early, so it's half-developed :)

Well, I'm going to post here until I launch my personal website which will be like 11 August or so. Till then, you'll probably see a lot of posts from me.

Great God, Great Service

Indeed the Saturday and Sunday's service with Rev. Mike Connell was an eye opener to many of us who have never experience nor seen a deliverance service. It was really great even though beforehand I kept having this feeling of uncertainty, not knowing what to expect and how to react.

There was a great pleasure from hearing all the shrieks and shouting, because you know that the demons in us is being casted out in the mighty name of Jesus. Like what Rev. Mike said, if you think the demons have a great power being able to influence us and throw us around, what you should be thinking is that we have a GREATER GOD with greater powers that can make them Flee.

When we took the step of faith to respond to the altar call, we were already being freed, together with the coughing action which shows that we WANT it to come out. And no demons can trample on holy ground yeah?

And I really did not expect that by just doing a normal coughing action, can lead you to a nauseous state. But hey, that's a good thing and yes, I felt so free right after that. And I know I love my God even more. Praise the Lord.

God really loves us so much, He heals us, He saves us, He delivers us, He provides for us, He protects us, He teaches us, He LOVE us.

Thank you Lord for letting me be a part of this holy family.

Great is our God.

Great Deliverance yesterday. Oh praise the Lord.

But something weird happened in the night. 2 - 3 times I woke up with fear. It wasn't overwhelming fear or anything, but it was just enough to keep me still, I didn't even dare to move, I just kept my eyes closed and went back to sleep which fortunately came almost immediately after I woke up.

My night was pretty disturbed, apart from waking up a few times. My nose was really weird. It felt like there was a lot of mucus stuck right at the point where it connects with the throat and it just wouldn't move. Never felt this before.

Few minutes before my alarm clock will ring, I woke up again. Fear, my nose, is making me feel down. Couldn't go back to sleep. Alarm clock rang and I thought it will shake me fully awake and proceed normally, but no. After stopping the alarm, I just lay back down and cover myself up. I just kept fearing and fearing, for what I don't even know. I had a reason to fear, or at least I thought I had a reason to fear. Fearing the return of the spirits that fled me. I just lay on my bed, covers up to my neck, making sure every gap was closed. For 5 minutes or maybe even longer I just stayed still.

Then I just reasoned with myself and said out loud. "I shall no longer fear." said it again and decided that it's either I move or I be a coward and wait for the sunrise, it was around 0635 or so. So I got up, took a lot of courage I admit. I just kept wanting to go back to the bed but I refused to, walked to the kitchen pretty quickly, repeating "Do not fear, for the Lord is with me." and the likes of it. Reached the kitchen and hit the lights on. Woo relieved...after that, that was it. Life was normal.

What was that about? An attack? Someone tell me please :)

Time should be 7p.m. if I'm not wrong.

Yay! This is really good because we are going out more and more often, gives us more chance to fellowship and also know each other more. In a sense that we are more relevant in each other lifes and not just meeting only during cellgroup and service, and I meant meeting as a cellgroup and not just 1 or 2 friends together.

I believe and I trust that today's gathering is gonna be great and super exciting. I'm not sure about you guys but for me it is, haven been out to sing with you people so it's kinda stressful. Heh. Go in and sing praise and worship songs =x. In Jesus Almighty name I pray that today's gathering would be blessed and that Jesus's presence would fill the place. Amen.

halo n20!

anyway. yup. pretty stressed up now by my studies and also pressure from my family. facing lotsa problems now, like my mum's nagging at me, and my eldest bro's not being understanding, and he kept comparing abt me and him. and also my sch. it's driving me crazy. i've to do like 2 papers a day, and my sch expect us to do well for it. when we don't do well, they say that we're not putting in the effort and stuff. plus, my prelims are in 2weeks time. so, everything's like super tight and stressful now.

but, God always provide a way for me when i'm stress. thank God for such a great real-fleshblood brother. he's also a member of our church. just now when i got home, i was super stressed up, cuz my mum was like nagging at me again, despite me telling her not to do so cuz i'm already stressed enough. so, when i got home, my 2nd bro came to talk to me, ask me if i'm alright, and just started telling him my stress and all the pressure that i'm facing. and then, he got his guitar, and ask me to worship together with him. at the 1st strum of the guitar, tears just started pouring out non-stop. and we took some time to worship and he shared a word with me and prayed for me. the mighty presence of God is just so tangible in my room. i received inner-healing on the spot, and felt much better.

i don't know if some of you know, but i do struggle in the area of self-esteem, and often got hurt on that spot, it's just so fragile that whoever touches it, it'll just break. but really once again, thank God for healing it, and i know and i know that from now on, i'll not struggle with it ever again =)

Yes, like what they've mentioned, the long await N20 blog is finally BORN, set-up and ready to rock! This is really a good opportunity and also a good place for all of us to actually get together, fellowship and know more about how each one of us is doing. Hope that each and every member would contribute and play a part to make this blog a interesting one even if you ain't a blogger (start being one now).

A big thank you (told ya it's big...) and a warm hug (shrugs. pure brotherly one.) to GuiSheng for the wonderful design and layout of this blog.
