Fear not.
Last weekend's service, Rev. Dr. Ulf Ekman shared about the spirit of Fear.
I believed many of us were raised up in an environment of fear. Why do I say so? When we were young, our parents instilled fear of man in us. Example ("don't cry later police man catch", "sell you to karang-guni", "you do (action), I beat you").
Many times in the bible, the meaning of this verse comes up, [
Isiaiah 41:10], "do NOT fear, for the Lord is with you". Our God is a God of comfort, of assurance, of peace, of hope, of joy, of creativity. Therefore, let all those that are facing difficulties, come to Him. In [
Luke 12:31], it tells us to 1st seek the Kingdom of God, and all that we need, all that we lack, would be given to us.
Rev. Ulf Ekman said that when the spirit of fear is in you, spirit of God (of faith) cannot work in you. So if you allow the spirit of God to come in and work things out, the spirit of fear shall be casted away. (God's right hand of Righteousness will cover you.)
So I believe that, when you are facing troubles, facing difficult circumstances, fear not, seek the Lord and all that you need to help you win the race, would be given to you.
Fear not the man, but the Lord.
Fear not about entrance to university, but the entrance to the Kingdom.
Fear not about the job interview, but God's interview.
Fear not about the rejection from your peers, but the external rejection from the Kingdom.
