Got to know Kathryn Kuhlman through Pst Benny Hinn's book 'Good Morning Holy Spirit'. Not only did Pst Benny got saved during the service with her a long time ago.. he also had a very strong tangible experience with God that very day if i recalled correctly.
Anyway Kathryn Kuhlman i believe is the one God sent, before Pst Benny Hinn. One of the amazing things about this lady is that she started preaching at the age of 16 according to wikipedia haha.
And erm like what Bobby Conners (guy in the vid) said about her is sth i'd agree with. She's weird. hahaha but who cares! She's being mightily used by God and alot of people are being blessed as a result of this fact. (Go youtube and look for her vid and ya'll know ;))

I'm glad things are turning out better now.. i strongly believe there's been this impartation since our merge with W253. God really uses people man. i think we used to get so caught up with our limitations and now God is using other people to enlarge us.. i feel stretched but at the same time i see fruits.
I wonder if anybody comes here to check things out. i know of a definite few but unsure about the rest. i realised alot of our entries are simply announcements. but with just a tiny-winnie more effort we could do alot alot better man.. ..just very simply share sth.. anything!
A relationship doesnt demand of your livelihood, but it does cost sth, sth as little as a few minutes to just share sth might be good enough ya know?
The point is that A SEED is good enough for it to becomes a tree which bears much fruits.
i know we can always text, call, msn, meetup but we've set out together to come out with this blog. sth very significant i think. a place where we can all connect and relate to. i see a need that we sow into this blog to so call keep it alive at least for now. and it's so easy!! just paste a video here like what i did i know lol very cheapskate but you get the point (and dont tell me you werent blessed by the clip ar lol) so start blogging or tagging or whatever (which doesnt include spamming), start sowing and we will see fruits eh =D
Today on my way home i reviewed Pst Aries' sermon during the Breakaway Camp (a few weeks back) which really impacted me man would like to share abit here today in my own interpretation
Success comes in divine opportunities. But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient.
Revival comes in divine opportunities (we all know this is revival season). But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient.
Whatever you pray for will come to you in divine opportunities. But opportunities most of hte time are inconvenient.
God reveals to us the things we've been praying for with opportunities But opportunities most of the time are inconvenient It's how we respond to these opportunities that determine whether our prayers have been answered If we really want it, God is all the more willing to bless us but He wants to see faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who EARNESTLY seek him.(Hebrews 11:6) If we really really want it then what is inconvenience to us? Let's go the extra mile to proof to God how much we believe what we ask, say revival The person who will experience the breakthrough is the person who believes The anointing comes when we take the very first step of faith
What you know you need to do but seems inconvenient is exactly what you need to just go ahead and do. This is what i felt the Lord speaking to me when i reviewed the notes again
Hope some of us are really blessed by the word as much as i do.
I believe all of us had a great time with John Avanzini. Let us not be "blenders" in the Body of Christ because of inconvenience Let there be no tricks or excuses because of inconvenience Let there be absolutely no guile because of inconvenience Let's believe! And just obey, just do it despite of the inconvenience.
Remember God rewards those who EARNESTLY seek him, He wont condemn us for going the extra mile. In fact like what Pst John said which was something like this, "I would rather get scolded by God for doing too much than get scolded for doing nothing or with a stinky attitude." (this was how i received it)
The catch here is, whenever we felt inconvenient to obey, it's an opportunity for us to release our faith to God by simply doing it (surrender)
In the midst of us doing great things for God in the ministry, in the marketplace, in the campuses, let us not become weary in DOING GOOD, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)

'Finding Your Calling' - Oprah Winfrey HERE! (URL-1) =) Found this on one of the CGL's blog (believe she's from JOL also) Anyway I believe also that most of us have heard of Oprah Winfrey right?! She was voted the America's MOST influential/powerful women (it was couple months ago I think) See what she has to say in this casual 4min30sec interview with one of the audience, about 'finding your calling' or 'purpose in life'.

BE INSPIRED man!! As you're reading about Oprah.. keep in mind she was like any other Mary, Jane or Siti and that most of us at a young age, were brought up in much fortunate environments compared to hers. (take cooking for an analogy: "If Yen can cook so can you!") If she can do it, WHY NOT WE?! YAY!!!
Wow.. 2 days of Joyce Meyer was very very impactful and fruitful as well! An anointed preacher indeed as she's able to articulate her understanding of the doctrines very well making it easy to grasp and digest for the congregation. Her testimony was a super heart-opener too.
One of the main highlights of all I think was during the first service where she placed a rocking chair on the platform next to herself. Very intriguing huh.. and that was her intention - to get the message she's about to share (with the help of the chair) into the back of our heads in a more visual manner.
So here goes the message: Christianity is not what we can do for God so we can get His blessings, but by the grace of God that we ARE blessed, that we ARE free to receive His blessings. God loves us not because of anything else but His desire to, and none of us can do anything to change it.
God has called us His children the very day we receive His salvation, and He already has intended a great great plan for each one of us.
But there are alot of Christians still yet to know who they really are in Christ. And it's because of this that they will never manifest what God intends them to be (their call & purpose in life).
Instead of believing we are made righteous, prosperous in life, and accepted by God through Christ as said by God Himself, people tend to try to be righteous, seek mercy, etc
Here you are sitting on the rocking chair.. in the arms of God knowing who you really are in His eyes.. resting peacefully in His promises and presence.. whoaaahhh...shiok (and this is the kinda life Jesus died to give us) But alot of christian, who are children of God, who are already in the chair, are still trying hard to the extend of struggling to get IN the chair. That's because instead of believing what God says about them.. they choose to believe the lies of the devil instead. I admit I find this hard to cope and was like this until this sermon hit me so hard.
So the message was made clear, Stop getting in the chair when you're already sitting on it! haha and all it takes for you to successfully live a lifestyle of peace, contentment and hapiness is just to BELIEVE. (faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.)It's when we believe through the Word of God that we can truly live a victorious life.
Wa! I have to meditate on this sermon very often leh I think for me I go read my Bible le!! BB!! =D
Today's cg was great.. long time since we had sermon outline for the word haah Anyway today's sermon was about 'Attaining Godliness Through Discipline'
And at the end of the sermon we did this little exercise. It's about writing out some spiritual goals for ourselves to achieve till the end of this year.
And to help us with this exercise.. there're questions to guide, questions like: - What do you want to see in your walk with God? - Which family members & friends do you want to see saved? - What are the thigns you want to set your affection on? (Matt 6:21 - "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.") - What are the things you want to adopt as a lifestyle and put into action (Discipline requires a corresponding regular response and action on our part)
And after we finished our last sentence.. we're told to check if our answers(goals) would lead us to Godliness, if they're God-centered. Wa I think this really helps big time man, it really is time we all come out with an action plan.. NOW is the time man!
So er this is just the summary of what we've learnt today(17/08/07)
And so it went on to fellowshiping and I dont know how we started talking about lizards('house lizards' generally) and Gillian was literally "manisfesting" lol. She was so afraid of lizards even to extend of freaking out upon the mentioning of the word-'lizard' wahaha!!
And oh yea! That explains the video on top (you can take off that question mark above you head now).. but you guys(N20) would never believe how I found it!!!! It actually came to me!! yes!! I ask you I ask you where got such coincidence one?? Today I asked a colleague to add me to her friendster list and when I got home after CG and viewed her profile.. THERE IT WAS!! Never seen any house lizard videos ever before.. it just seems like the spirit wants to speak to Gillian sth about her queer fear(hey a rythme!) of lizards whaahaha
Don't worry Gillian.. I believe in no time.. when we have that wrestling match between you and the lizard.. we're gonna see it drop it's tail and run like it never dropped it's tail and ran before =D
Great service today!! Wow I love Dr A R Bernard man! He makes me feel smarter ahaha no la no la.. he’s a great teacher that’s why I like him =D
At the closing of today’s service Dr Bernard said: “When you decide to engage culture with the spiritual and moral standards of God, you will face persecutions” The Bible assures that too.
And yes we have gone and are going through persecutions.. and it’s very real to me because I’ve faced it personally too.
I’m talking about the article on Sun.. I have not seen the article but anyway God spoke to me through this issue.
Some friends have been pretty critical about Sun’s “way” of engaging culture. Christians, non-Christians have been talking and debating about the should-s and shouldn’t-s, right-s and wrong-s of her methods.
I was led into this conversation with a Christian friend a couple days back. And I thank the Holy Spirit for His guidance. It was a short distance home from the mrt station when we started talking about Sun. So we decided to sit down and continued the conversation which lasted for another hour plus. So to summarise.. during the conversation he threw me some verses that stumbled my viewpoint. I tried not to rush into “preaching the cultural mandate sermon” to him lol because he seems to be pretty good at his theology haha. (and I was literally waiting for the Spirit to help me get my point across in the flow), and while doing so, trying to counter attack lol.
So it went on till the Holy Spirit showed up and interceded. And I said to my friend, “wait wait.. we’re missing the point here…”
You know with all these debates going on sometimes it could get really critical and judgmental which leads to frustrations and at the end of the day, unfruitfulness. At the end of the day we find ourselves just trying to prove to each other how much we know about the theories of the Bible. And we miss out the One who’s the source of it.
When such controversy arises it’s about people picking out the negative things of issues to talk about and it starts usually with something negative. I wasn’t fully comfortable with Sun’s appearance in her videos but who am I to be part of this debate of right and wrong?
By the presence my friend was convicted. What would he profit if he knows so much more about theology than me but miss out the presence of God?
And for my side: what would I profit if I were to use tactful words and trying to be patient and holy to get my message across and still be debating and missing the presence – the point?
Instead of looking at the negative side of things and talking about them why not be thankful for the good things and talk about them? Well why should we? Because when we talk about negative things it doesn’t glorify God at all, he not only cares less about negative things.. He stays away from it. He basically has nothing to do with it.
I don’t even wanna care to ponder if He’s okay about Sun, if He’s there, if He’ll answer my prayers, , all the if-s.
I thank God for Sun because she’s really doing a lot of good works out there and impacting big time in the marketplace. I thank God that she has touched and helped so many people in sharing her testimony. I also thank God for her to be a role model for us. A person of great faith, doing the will of God despite facing challenges. She’s strong man.. and is an example of a very successful person. And I'm starting to appreciate more of her now.
One thing I truly believe is that God wants us to appreciate the things in life which he creates And how do you appreciate things? By seeing what’s good and talk about them.
Now I understand why Phil Pringle say whenever he chooses to have faith he feels happy/joyful and that makes him wanna step out more in faith.. because when we talk about the good things as we take up faith we are welcoming the presence and we become positive in our thinking which leads to fruitfulness in the spirit. Being all negative and complaining doesn’t do us any bit of good at all.. they only produces unfruitfulness (holds you back).
So when you’re are trying so hard to get to the point next time.. ask yourself again and again if you have gotten it already =) What is the point?
